Job Description
Christie Sanders started as an Academic Advisor in the Student Success and Advising Center in the College of Family and Consumer Sciences October 2018. She is responsible for advising Consumer Economics, Financial Planning and Housing Management & Policy majors in addition to Consumer Economics and Housing Management & Policy minors.
A UGA staff member since 1999, Christie worked in the Career Center as a Career Consultant and the College of Engineering as an Academic Advisor before joining FACS.
Christie is originally from Fayetteville, NC and grew up at the Outer Banks. She and her husband are high school sweethearts and avid movie-goers. Her favorite movies are: Heaven Can Wait, Grease, and Back to the Future.
