HR Manager and Executive Assistant to the Dean
Job Description
I am the Human Resources Manager and the Executive Assistant to the Dean at the College of Family and Consumer Sciences. My position is central to the efficient flow of work, initiatives, and projects emanating from the Office of the Dean. I support, monitor and faciliate a wide variety of projects on behalf of the Dean including managing flow of information and directing procedures to ensure efficient operation of the Dean's office. I am also responsible for human resource management on behalf of the College including working in conjunction with the Dean to:
Establish and ensure implementation of HR efforts that effectively communicate and support the College's mission and strategic vision;
Develop plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operation goals;
Provide feedback and guidance concerning key organizational and managment issues; and
Provide overall leadership and guidance to the HR function within the College.
In addition I serve as the College's HR Liaison with central offices and the Office of Faculty Affairs liaison.
