Laughter is very effective at releasing tension in a positive way and has been proven to reduce stress and much more.
Laughter Yoga follows a series of simple structured exercises using yoga type breathing. The most important requirement is a sense of playfulness when we laugh together until natural laughter occurs without effort. You do not need to be happy, have a sense of humor, or even a reason to laugh.
No special clothing or gear are required, only a willing spirit and your vocal cords!

Students are invited to attend the Sustainability Certificate Information Session on March 24th from 4:30-5:30 pm in MLC 250. The Information session will be led by the Director of the Sustainability Certificate, Tyra Byers, and will feature a Q&A panel with the Sustainability Certificate Ambassadors, along with an informational presentation.
The UGA Sustainability Certificate introduces students to the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to address complex sustainability problems and innovate collaborative solutions. The program is centered around the UN Sustainable Global Goals and the seven sustainability competencies. These core ideas are reinforced through a broad sustainability framework with courses focusing on ecological, economic, and social spheres, and culminating in a final capstone project. All undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to join!
