FACS group earns Student Employee of the Year Team Award

Five FACS student workers from UGA Dining Services received the 2025 Student Employee of the Year team award from the UGA Career Center:
Elizabeth Baran, dietetics student; Jessica Harris, dietetic technician; Anna Faye Dupree, master’s student; Alyssa Johnson, master's student/dietetic intern; and Abriana Byrd, dietetics student
The team, composed of nutrition managers, nutrition supervisors, nutrition clericals and dietetic interns, was nominated by FACS grad Katherine Ingerson, UGA associate director for nutrition services, for its work implementing education within the dining commons.
“These students are intelligent, independent, driven, enthusiastic and hard-working,” Ingerson said. “They catch on remarkably fast to assignments and new concepts and their work is always detail-orientated and thorough.”
The team was recognized at the Student Employee of the Year Awards luncheon.
