- Why I chose my major
As someone who has always loved fashion and design but also enjoyed the managerial and business aspect, the Fashion Merchandising major has catered to my range of passions and interests. My major has allowed me to tap into my creative side while also taking numerous business classes. I am a strong advocate in choosing a major that you are enthusiastic about and motivates you to learn. After partaking in the UGA FACS London Study Abroad Program, I also added a Global Education and Leadership Certificate, hoping to spark interest in others considering studying abroad and contribute to leadership development both at UGA and in society.
- What I like most about FACS
With UGA reaching its largest-ever enrollment, FACS has remained determined to make their students feel like more than just a number. FACS provides a small classroom dynamic and atmosphere in its courses, enabling students to engage in more intimate discussions and interactions. This has allowed me to build lasting friendships with my peers and professors while taking courses catered to my passion of fashion, design, and retail. FACS has also allowed me to visit both New York City and London, empowering me to explore my passions of traveling and cultural immersion. FACS provides its students with truly once-in-a-lifetime opportunities in which I strongly encourage students to partake.
- Post-graduation plans
I have been accepted into the Master of Business Administration program at the College of Charleston. I am so excited to further my education in such a historic and beautiful city and feel confident that I can make both the College of Charleston and University of Georgia proud.
