- Why I chose my major
I chose my major because I have always had an interest in fashion. When I found out UGA had a fashion merchandising major, I knew it was the right choice for me. The program provides me with a vast knowledge that I will be able to apply to many different career paths. I was unsure what aspect of the fashion industry I wanted to pursue, but through the program's class content, I now feel more prepared for what could happen post graduation. This program has encouraged me to think outside the box and pursue interests in areas I might not have before.
- What I like most about FACS
What I love most about FACS is simple: the people. Whether that is my professors or people I meet walking in the hall, the feeling of a FACS family is strong. Since I started at a freshman in FACS, as soon as I started to meet upperclassmen and professors, I knew I wanted to be more involved in FACS.
- Post-graduation plans
I am graduating in December and hope to pursue a job in luxury fashion in New York City.
