- Current occupation/location
Global Brands & Product Development Sr. Onboarding Analyst, The Home Depot, Atlanta
- What do you love about your current role?
I love working and collaborating on programs with our overseas team. We have offices in China, Vietnam, Europe, India, and Latin America, and everyone is so kind and eager to help get our programs finalized so the consumers can enjoy the end product.
- How did your time at FACS help prepare you for your life or career?:
Working in supply chain, I am forever grateful for the Global Sourcing class I took under Professor Greg Vessels. His class prepared me for the complexity of sourcing product overseas, especially when challenges like tariffs arise and force onboarding timelines to shift.
- What advice would you give current students who aspire to a similar career?
Ask questions, make meaningful connections, respond to all emails by the end of work day, and also remember, one door may close so the right door will open.
- What is one memorable experience you had as a student in FACS?
Attending the Student Merchandising Association fashion show my freshman year and thinking, “These are my people. I have to join this club and be a part of this world.” I ended up being the president of SMA my senior year and it was the best experience of my life.
