Why I chose my major

After extensive research on UGA’s Fashion Merchandising program while at Georgia
State University, I decided to transfer and choose this major because I wanted to gain a
more thorough understanding of fashion design and the business of the fashion
industry. I’ve been the Designer and Creative Director of my own brand,
JEANSBYBRYCE: By You and Me, since 2019 and wanted to fuel my passion and
desire to learn more about fashion by becoming an FM major, as I felt this program was
the best fit for that. Upon graduating, I can attest that it absolutely has been.

What I like most about FACS

The faculty and the opportunities the program has opened doors to!

Post-graduation plans

My plans are to begin working as an Assistant Designer while continuing running
business until my brand is my main career!
