- Why I chose my major
I chose to major in Human Development and Family Science (HDFS) at the advice of my older sister, who attended UGA. She was also a HDFS major, and she shared with me how much it aligned with the aspects of occupational therapy. I knew I wanted to pursue a career in occupational therapy, so the HDFS program seemed like a perfect fit for me.
- What I like most about FACS
The thing I love most about FACS is the close-knit community of it. FACS is a smaller college, and I loved the ability to create relationships with classmates and professors that would continue throughout my four years at UGA. This allowed for deeper connections and friendships, which I really value at a school as big as UGA.
- Post-graduation plans
After graduation, I will attend Augusta University’s Masters of Health Science in Occupational Therapy program.
