What do you love about your current role?

Every day, I have the privilege of making an impact in the lives of individuals and families. By aligning their financial choices with their values, I help them find greater peace of mind and discover purpose in stewarding their wealth. The human element of financial planning, building relationships, creating clarity, and instilling confidence about the future is what I love the most. It's incredibly rewarding to walk alongside people during life’s most meaningful moments and provide guidance they can trust.

How did your time at FACS help prepare you for your life or career?:

FACS provided me with a robust foundation in both 'hard skills' and 'soft skills.' The curriculum not only imparted the technical knowledge of taxes, retirement, and investments but also emphasized the importance of communication, empathy, and real-world application. The support and mentorship I received from the faculty were invaluable, instilling in me the confidence to step into my career and serve clients effectively.

What advice would you give current students who aspire to a similar career?

Say yes to opportunities early and often. This can include internships, mentorships, or even grabbing coffee with someone in the field. The more people you meet and the more experiences you gather, the clearer your path will become. Remember, being technically strong is important, but your ability to build trust and listen deeply will set you apart. Don't underestimate the power of soft skills.

What does being a FACS grad mean to you?

Being a FACS grad means belonging to a community that values service, impact, and lifelong learning. It also means carrying forward a legacy of helping others thrive, whether through financial planning, education, wellness, or advocacy. I am proud to represent a college that equips students to lead with both heart and expertise.
