- Why I chose my major
Choosing the Financial Planning major allowed me to combine my passion for personal finance and helping others. At a young age, I became interested in investing and budgeting and knew that I wanted to pursue this interest as a career. I believe that financial planning is unique in that planners help countless individuals and families make the right decisions that give them the best chance to reach their goals. This profession is personal and built on trusting relationships where I believe I can make a strong impact nurturing growth and stability. The Financial Planning program has given me pride and opportunity to become the best professional that I can be.
- What I like most about FACS
FACS is a special place that has people looking to help you at every step. From the moment I walked on campus, I have had mentors that are not just looking to help me as a student but as a person and a professional. FACS is a place of teamwork where all students regardless of major are connected as part of this family, and I am grateful to be a part of it.
- Post-graduation plans
I will be staying at UGA to pursue my master’s degree in Financial Planning.
