- What do you love about your current role?
I love that I get to be creative, use my God-given talents and serve my hometown and the hospital where I was born!
- How did your time at FACS help prepare you for your life or career?:
My time at FACS opened my eyes to a beautiful and diverse world we live in. Coming from a smaller private school, I was thrilled to meet so many people who opened my eyes. It taught me to be creative, think outside the box and lean into m natural talents. My time at FACS and my professors showed me that it was OK to be yourself, that actually being you is what makes you great! I am so proud to have my degree in fashion merchandising, which I can use as an asset to our 1 billion dollar health system here in southwest Georgia.
- What does being a FACS grad mean to you?
Being a FACS grad to me is such a badge of honor. We are such a diverse school with one mission of helping our fellow humans!
- What advice would you give current students who aspire to a similar career?
My advice for students who aspire to a similar career in healthcare philanthropy is that sometimes the career chooses you. Lean into your natural talents, listen to your instincts and focus on where you are the happiest.
