Why I chose my major

I entered college during the COVID-19 pandemic, uncertain about my career path. I chose to major in Human Development and Family Science because it offered the flexibility to explore various healthcare careers while also allowing me to take courses that sparked my interest.

What I like most about FACS

What I appreciate most about FACS is the incredibly welcoming environment. The professors are always approachable, ready to listen, and eager to offer help, something you don’t often find at a large university. The students here are the same way; they’re open to conversation, sharing their experiences, and supporting one another. FACS truly feels like a home away from home, and I feel so fortunate to be part of such a wonderful community.

Post-graduation plans

I am pursuing a doctorate in occupational therapy.
