- Why I chose my major
In high school, I completed the Family and Consumer Sciences pathway. After the completion of that pathway, I found FACS and HDFS, which sparked my interest in healthcare and helping professions. The Double Dawgs program was a phenomenal opportunity for me and I chose to enter into the program and pursue gerontology with the support of my professors and advisors. I have loved the FACS program and I am forever thankful for all that this program and the faculty have done for me.
- What I like most about FACS
The faculty and support that is offered in the college! The college is such a tight-knit community and it changes the college experience for the better.
- Post-graduation plans
I plan on beginning my career in gerontology and working in the Athens-Clarke county area to support the aging population.
