What do you love about your current role?

What I love most about my role is the environment and the people I get to work with, especially the performance staff. But above all, it’s the constant learning. Every day I pick up something new that sharpens my skills and brings me one step closer to becoming the best sports performance professional I can be … and that has always been the goal

How did your time at FACS help prepare you for your life or career?:

FACS prepared me for what was to come. The RD exam is no joke and neither was Dr. Brigman, Huge shoutout to her! Do not forget those food service calculations, you WILL see them again!

What advice would you give current students who aspire to a similar career?

If we all want to work in sports, then we’re all chasing the same jobs, the same internships, the same experiences. So what makes your resume different? Make your resume stand out by finding ways to add value that others aren’t. Be intentional, be creative, and build a story that’s uniquely yours.

What do you know now that you wish you knew when you were a student?

Communication is everything. You never know what’s possible unless you speak up and shoot your shot. Don’t assume people are too busy or unreachable. Opportunities often start with a simple conversation.
