A physician assistant is a skilled person who is licensed to a supervising physician and who is qualified by academic and practical training to provide patients' services not necessarily within the physical presence but under the personal direction or supervision of the supervising physician.

Required Education

Completion of a physician’s assistant training program approved by the Georgia Composite Board of Medical Examiners — at least 1 year of experience in behavioral healthcare required to supervise CPRP, CPS, or PP staff.

Required Certification

Licensed by the Georgia Composite Board of Medical Examiners.
