Research
I specialize in social relationships and quantitative methods. My research centers on adolescent peer networks, defending behavior, and loneliness. I am currently working with the MISS Lab to identify social scripts and behaviors that exist and how those affect mothers' decisions to teach their children about sex education. I also work with the QMFSS Certificate Program as a graduate statistical consultant.
Teaching
I am currently a Future Faculty Fellow through the Center for Teaching and Learning. This is a year-long professional development program that selects 15 teaching assistants from across campus who have demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and are preparing for careers in higher education. I am also serving as a teaching assistant this Fall under Dr. Melissa Landers-Potts for HDFS 2200 Introduction to Lifespan Development.
