Scholarships

For FACS students, there are a couple of scholarships that FI students can apply for to help with their student costs for tuition and internships. Additionally, for students that like to do research, they can do so through the UGA CURO program and for study abroad; the Global Education of UGA has other scholarship opportunities as well.

Anne Elizabeth Sanford Student Support Fund

M.E. Powell Threlkeld Endowment

This scholarship is available to any undergraduate student.

Mary Bruce Clendening Interior Design Award

The purpose of the scholarship is to provide an award for our Furnishings and Interiors students participating in an Interior Design competition. The type of competition is up to the faculty and the department of Textiles, Merchandising, and Interiors. The competition is judged by individuals beyond the College of Family & Consumer Sciences.  For this competition we ask for alumni and industry employers to participate and judge the student’s capstone project which is a mixed occupancy boutique hotel. The award is split between the top three winners.
