"Without the scholarship I would not have been able to take the trip [to Peru] at all...It was an experience I will never forget and it introduced me to a culture and an industry that has a refreshing stewardship approach to the enviornment.I have trult come to be a believer in the benefits of alpaca wool.

The most memorable experience would be some factory visits that touched and inspired me to continue my passion in fashion and apparel and take a social stance.

My experience in Cortona is one I will never forget, and I am so grateful to the Georgia Soft Goods Education Foundation for helping fashion students at UGA like me expand their horizons.

With the support of the Charlie Gilbert Study Abroad Scholarship, I was able to fund my unforgettable experience studying abroad for the first time in Cortona, Italy with UGA Cortona. Studying my fashion and textile design classes in the cradle of fashion was an incredible experience, with field trips to Venice, Naples, Florence, Rome, the UK, and more, my brain and heart were developing ideas and growing passions at the speed of light. My experience in Cortona is one I will never forget, and I am so grateful to the Georgia Soft Goods Education Foundation for helping fashion students at UGA like me expand their horizons.
