- Why I chose my major
I chose to major in Dietetics because I want to pursue a career in sports nutrition. I have been around sports my entire life, playing soccer since age 2, and knew I wanted to have a career within the sports team environment. When playing soccer in high school, I saw firsthand how important it is to fuel your body and how performance goes hand in hand with nutrition. I want to be able to educate athletes and help them fuel their best to perform at their best.
- What I like most about FACS
What I like most about FACS is the family feel and community environment that it brings. Since I first stepped into Dawson Hall, FACS has felt like a home within UGA. The professors are so nice and willing to help you succeed to the best of your abilities, and the fellow students are so warm and welcoming to everyone. I also like the size of the classes and how I can make friends with my classmates, knowing that I will have other classes with them in the future.
