Activities/Honors

Honors: I was on the President’s List in the Fall of 2024 and Spring of 2023 and was on the Dean’s List from 2021-2022 and in the Spring of 2024. I was honored for my high GPA by induction into Order of Omega. I am graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Activities: I worked as a pharmacy technician at a local independent pharmacy, as well as on the nutrition team for the UGA football team from 2023-2025. I have been an active member of the UGA Catholic Center all four years of college and served on the CSA board as the Student Music Director during my senior year. I was also a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Panhellenic Sorority for my entire college career and served as Director of Academic Enrichment during my sophomore to junior year. I loved chemistry and served as an undergraduate TA for Honors Organic Chemistry, as well as a Peer Learning Assistant for General Chemistry I.  

Why I chose my major

I originally chose this major because of my love for nutrition and healthy eating. I had seen the impact that nutrition had made on my own life, and I wanted to nurture that love through academia. I knew that UGA has a phenomenal program for dietetics, and I was excited to be a part of it. In the past four years, this major has expanded my love for science, the human body and nutrition.

What I like most about FACS

What I love most about FACS is how unique it is. Each major offered in this college is directed towards a specific goal, whether that be financial planning, family counseling, non-profit management or nutritional science. There are so many paths to take in FACS, and the FACS faculty and staff are more than happy to help every student find their place. FACS is full of amazing resources and people, and I could not be more grateful to be a part of it!

Post-graduation plans

I will be attending pharmacy school at the University of Florida, pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
