Why I chose my major

After completing my undergraduate degree in Social Entrepreneurship for Consumer Well-being, I wanted to learn more about different data analysis techniques and how to apply them to understand consumer behavior. My advisor, Dr. Dee Warmath, suggested that I look into the Consumer Analytics program, and it has been the perfect fit for me. My major has given me the freedom to choose classes that I want to take and explore different aspects to consumer sciences.

What I like most about FACS

My first year at UGA, I bounced around a few different colleges and majors until I took my first class in FACS. My professor was so intentional and caring of her students and I felt right at home. I love that the smaller class sizes in FACS allows students to create meaningful relationships with both peers and professors. The faculty within FACS goes above and beyond to help students succeed and expand their knowledge. I am truly thankful for them.

Post-graduation plans

I will be entering the workforce doing data analysis in the fall of 2024.
