Activities/Honors

Throughout my time on campus, I served two years on the executive board of the largest nonprofit organization at the university, UGA Miracle. I also designed in two FDSA fashion shows and served on the leadership board for two issues of the local fashion magazine, Strike. In the summer of 2023, I worked in Los Angeles for Brunello Cucinelli as the PR intern. This past summer, I worked as a styling intern for celebrity stylist, Sam Spector. I recently finished my final semester of study abroad on UGA Cortona’s campus. I will be graduating Summa Cum Lade.

Why I chose my major

When first entering college, I was a marketing major with a fashion merchandising minor. This soon changed after my first fashion merchandising class: intro to fashion merchandising. I loved the dynamic of the class and every single lesson we learned. I quickly turned this minor into a major not only because of the passion I had for all the topics we learned in that class, but also because of the different opportunities the major offered.

What I like most about FACS

The professors are easily my favorite part. They work to make their classes engaging and understanding no matter how far along you are in your degree. They not only form relationships with their students but they are also passionate about the subjects they are teaching.

Post-graduation plans

I am waiting to hear from multiple opportunities, but if those do not align, I will be staying in Atlanta to pursue a 300-hour yoga teacher training certification.
