- Why I chose my major
I chose HDFS because I've always been passionate about understanding people, relationships, and the systems that shape their lives. This major gave me the opportunity to combine my interests in human development, family dynamics, and education with my desire to serve individuals and communities.
- What I like most about FACS
What I value most about FACS is the sense of community and support. Faculty and peers have encouraged me to grow not only academically and professionally, but also personally, challenging me to think critically and act passionately. FACS became a home away from home and has allowed me to connect classroom learning to service and advocacy.
- Post-graduation plans
After graduation, I will serve as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Albania in the English Education sector. Long term, I hope to continue working in education and nonprofit leadership, using skills I've gained at UGA to strengthen communities and promote youth empowerment.
